Introduces modelling software for coastal engineering, ranging from simplified wave propagation codes to sophisticated computational fluid dynamics (CFD) solvers. The learning approach is mostly hands-on, building on information delivered in lectures to allow the student to gain practical knowledge of the software in computer laboratory sessions.
