: Turbulent Processes in Climate
2020 Semester One (1203)
Examines turbulent processes in the atmosphere, oceans, and at their interface, and the associated transport and exchange of momentum, energy, and moisture. In the atmosphere these processes include phase changes and the course will explore cloud formation, dynamics, and precipitation. Students are expected to know the basics of fluid mechanics and vector calculus.
