Pre pregnancy care will include preconceptual counselling and the psycho-social aspects of pregnancy care such as effects of drugs, alcohol, smoking and travel. Best practise and referral guidelines for early pregnancy ante natal care will be covered including diagnosis and management of early pregnancy problems such as recurrent miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, gestational trophoblastic disease and hyperemesis.

Interdisciplinary understandings of vision will be enriched by the examination of historical paintings and artists’ visual experiences.
