Learning Outcomes
- Enact cycles of inquiry into the impact of their practice on student learning, and know how to use evidence of that impact to take the necessary next steps. (Capability 2.1, 3.1, 3.2, 4.2, 5.1, 7.1, 8.1 and 8.2)

Workload Expectations
This course is a standard 15 point course and students are expected to spend 10 hours per week involved in each 15 point course that they are enrolled in.
For this course, students can expect 2 hours of lectures, 2 hours of reading and thinking about the content in addition to time spent in work on assignments and/or preparation - this time will vary throughout the year, but will be most intensive following practicum 2, prior to the capstone presentation.

This course is offered in two delivery modes:
Campus Experience
Attendance is expected at scheduled lectures to be able to complete components of the course.
Lectures will be available as recordings.
The course will not include live online events.
The activities for the course are scheduled as a standard weekly timetable.
Online
The course will be delivered fully on-line and will not include live online events.
Online learning activities are presented as asynchronous self-paced modules (that students work through in their own time).
Online activities may include engaging with online notes, recorded material, discussion forums, course reading and independent tasks and activities.
Study material will be released progressively throughout the course.This course runs to the University semester timetable and all the associated completion dates and deadlines will apply.

Student feedback about the course has been positive. In the University evaluations for this course in 2024, student feedback about "the quality of this course" created a score of 4.57, against a Faculty-wide score of 4.29, and a University-wide score of 4.18.
Academic Integrity
The University of Auckland will not tolerate cheating, or assisting others to cheat, and views cheating in coursework, tests and examinations as a serious academic offence. The work that a student submits for grading must be the student's own work, reflecting their learning. Where work from other sources is used, it must be properly acknowledged and referenced.
