PSYCH 714 : Cognitive Neuroscience
2023 Semester One (1233) (15 POINTS)
This course will be divided into two parts. Part 1 will involve the presentation of a short journal article in a specified area of Cognitive Neuroscience and leading discussion around that article. Subsequently a short (600 words) write-up of the journal article will be submitted. Part 2 will consist of an oral presentation on a current topic in the cognitive disorder literature, followed by an essay on this topic.

This course is a standard 15-point course and students are expected to spend 10 hours per week involved in each 15-point course that they are enrolled in. For each week of this course, you can expect 2 hours of lectures, 4 hours of reading and thinking about the content and 4 hours of work on assignments.
- Attendance is expected at scheduled activities to complete the course.
- Lectures will not be available as recordings.
- Attendance on campus is required for the exam.
- The activities for the course are scheduled as a standard weekly delivery.
Course materials are made available in a learning and collaboration tool called Canvas which also includes reading lists and lecture recordings (where available).
